Commission Implementing **Regulation (EU) 2026/1730** of 15 July 2026 amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/848 as regards applicable standards and specifications. It operates under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services, and refines the rules on the registration of wallet-relying parties so that Member States apply consistent, up to date technical specifications across the European Digital Identity ecosystem.

### Article 1: Amendments to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/848
This Article amends the rules for registering wallet-relying parties:
- It modifies the accuracy requirements for the information held in the registers (Article 6(3)).
- It inserts Article 6(3a), providing that registrars collect certain information automatically for transparency purposes, without a prior authorisation step.
- It amends Article 8 so that the responsible certificate authorities issue wallet-relying party registration certificates automatically and without undue delay.
- It updates the technical specifications set out in Annexes I, IV and V to reflect the applicable standards.
### Article 2: Entry into force
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the *Official Journal of the European Union*.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
