EU Large-Scale Pilots

iGrant.io builds out its Organisation Wallet Suite through various use cases across the EWC and WE BUILD Consortium. The Organisation Wallet Suite has earned the "Ready for France Identite" badge, recognising its interoperability and compliance with the French EUDI Wallet ecosystem.

European Wallet Consortium (EWC)

EU Large-Scale Pilot | Completed: 2025

The EWC project was co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by Sweden, involving 18 Member States, more than 15 public administrations, and more than 40 private entities. iGrant.io served as one of the EUDI Wallet software providers within the consortium and played a key role in the EUDI wallet ecosystem task, including responsibility for maintaining EWC RFCs, managing interoperability across wallets, and supporting the development of the EWC Interoperability Test Bed (ITB).

iGrant.io's Organisation Wallet Suite was integrated in production and demonstrated the first live payment flow using EUDI Wallets, in collaboration with Banca Transilvania, Visa, Worldline, UAegean, and Fast Ferries.

WE BUILD is one of the official European Large-Scale Pilots for the EU Digital Identity Wallet and European Business Wallets, bringing together 180+ public authorities and private companies across 27 countries.

iGrant.io is a named beneficiary contributing business wallet software, participating in architecture definition, wallet provisioning, compliance testing, and business use case delivery. Active areas of work include Business Registry workflows, including Legal Person Identification Data (LPID) issuance and payment use cases.
